Reflection post week 5

This week I have a lot of homework to work on. I have to do my Math homework which is due Wednesday night, I have to work on my power point project for my area content project, and I need to start an essay for my art class. I am going to use a calendar to keep track of all my upcoming activates that I have going on this week. I am also going to make a to-do-list so I can keep track of all the things I need to do each day. The calendar will help because I can see everything that is coming up in my life. It will keep track of when a project or an assignment is due. This will keep me on top of all the daily activities coming up and will help me plan time for school work. The to-do-list will be helpful because I will have a check off list for my activities. I can plan my day by prioritizing the work that I need to get done which makes sure the more important tasks are completed first.

The only reading strategies I have to do this week would be for my power point project. I am going to have to use SQ3R, summarization, and highlighting to help me with this. We will use these three strategies to help us outline the text book chapter for the content project. SQ3R will help us to memorize the information we are reading over and will help us to pick the important information out. Highlighting will also help us to retain important information that we can place in our power point presentation. The summarization will help us take what we got out of the passage and place the main ideas into the power point project. These reading strategies will be very helpful in making the project complete quickly and accurately.
